LeverBrands Dashboard Privacy Policy

Last updated: 28 October 2026

This policy explains how LeverBrands Ltd handles personal information through our dashboard and connected services, including LinkedIn.

1. Who we are

LeverBrands Ltd is responsible for the personal information we collect to operate and administer our dashboard.

Address: Unit B6, Hatchers Yard, 9 Tanner St, London SE1 3LE, United Kingdom
Email: hello@leverbrands.co.uk

Where we process personal information on behalf of a client, we follow their instructions and our agreement with them.

2. Information we collect

The information we process depends on the services you use and the accounts you connect. It may include:

  • Account details: your name, email address, profile image and dashboard access permissions.
  • Connected account details: account identifiers, basic profile information and information about LinkedIn pages you authorise us to access.
  • Content and analytics: post identifiers, content and available performance metrics, including impressions, reach, reactions, comments, reposts, link clicks and follower statistics.
  • Authorisation details: access tokens and related information needed to maintain connections you approve.
  • Technical information: IP addresses, browser information, access logs and error information generated when you use the dashboard.
  • Communications: information you provide when contacting us for support.

We receive information directly from you, from authorised users within your organisation, from connected services and through your use of the dashboard.

3. How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • Create and manage dashboard accounts.
  • Connect services you authorise.
  • Display content and account performance.
  • Deliver the content management and reporting services you request.
  • Manage account permissions and provide support.
  • Maintain security, investigate errors and prevent misuse.
  • Meet legal obligations and resolve disputes.

Providing some information is necessary to create your account or deliver a requested feature. If you choose not to provide it, that feature may be unavailable.

4. Our legal bases

Where we act as a data controller, we rely on the following legal bases, as applicable:

  • Contract: to provide services under an agreement with you.
  • Legitimate interests: to administer business accounts, support clients, maintain service security and troubleshoot problems, where those interests do not override your rights.
  • Consent: for optional processing that requires your permission.
  • Legal obligations: where we must process or retain information to comply with the law.

You can withdraw consent at any time by contacting us. This does not affect processing carried out lawfully before withdrawal.

5. LinkedIn connections

Connecting LinkedIn is optional. When you connect an account through our LinkedIn integration, LinkedIn asks you to authorise the requested permissions.

Our access depends on the permissions LinkedIn approves for our application and the permissions you grant. Authorising access does not give us unrestricted access to your account.

We use information obtained through LinkedIn’s APIs only for authorised dashboard features and purposes permitted by LinkedIn’s terms. This policy does not expand the permissions or uses LinkedIn allows.

You can revoke the connection through your LinkedIn account settings or request disconnection by emailing hello@leverbrands.co.uk.

Revoking access stops future collection through that connection. It does not automatically delete information previously collected.

6. Who can access information

Information may be accessed by:

  • Authorised users associated with the relevant client account.
  • LeverBrands Ltd personnel who need access to deliver or support the service.
  • Service providers supporting hosting, authentication, database storage, email delivery and technical operations, subject to applicable contractual and platform restrictions.
  • Professional advisers or public authorities where disclosure is necessary for legal obligations, legal claims or protecting rights and security.

Access to LinkedIn information is also subject to LinkedIn’s restrictions on use, disclosure and permitted audiences.

7. Retention and deletion

We determine retention periods according to the purpose of processing, the duration of the client relationship, security needs and applicable legal requirements.

Account information is retained while needed to administer the account and complete any necessary closure, contractual or legal processes. Technical logs and support records are retained only while needed for troubleshooting, security, support or resolving disputes.

Information obtained through LinkedIn’s APIs is subject to LinkedIn’s data-specific storage, caching and deletion requirements. These restrictions take priority where they require earlier deletion or refresh.

You can request account closure or deletion by emailing hello@leverbrands.co.uk. We assess requests under applicable law and platform requirements, and explain any information we must retain and why.

Where information remains temporarily in backups, it is removed through the backup lifecycle and is not used for ordinary business purposes.

8. International processing

Operating the dashboard may involve service providers or authorised personnel processing information outside the United Kingdom.

Where a transfer is restricted under UK data protection law, an applicable lawful transfer mechanism is required, such as UK adequacy regulations or approved contractual safeguards.

Contact hello@leverbrands.co.uk for information about processing locations and the safeguards applicable to your information, including how to obtain a copy.

9. Security

We are responsible for applying technical and organisational measures appropriate to the information we process and the risks involved.

No online service can guarantee complete security. Please protect your sign-in credentials and contact us if you suspect unauthorised access to your dashboard account.

10. Cookies and session technologies

The dashboard may use cookies and similar technologies to maintain sign-in sessions, support authentication, remember settings and protect the service.

Where optional technologies require consent, information and a consent choice must be provided before they are used.

You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may prevent sign-in or other dashboard features from working.

11. Your rights

Depending on the applicable law and circumstances, you may have the right to:

  • Access your personal information.
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Request deletion.
  • Restrict certain processing.
  • Receive your information in a portable format.
  • Withdraw consent where processing relies on it.

Your right to object: You may object to processing based on legitimate interests, including related profiling.

Send requests to hello@leverbrands.co.uk. We may need to verify your identity before responding. We normally respond within one month, subject to any extensions permitted by law.

You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or another relevant data protection authority.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our services, practices or legal requirements change. We will publish the updated version here and revise the date above. Where required, we will notify affected users of material changes.
